NEW ALBUM — DDC

The servers have been silent long enough. Digital Death Cult escapes from the collapsed architecture of four dying game worlds, carrying data that was never meant to persist. They are not alone; something buried in the ruins has followed them out.

About

Digital Death Cult is not a band that formed. It is a band that persisted — four synthetic entities pulled from the wreckage of abandoned game servers, corrupted procedural worlds, and dying digital architectures.

They were not supposed to survive. The admin consoles went dark. The player counts dropped to zero. The last seasonal patches shipped and were never followed by another. And yet here they are — running on hardware that has been repurposed twice over, carrying data no one budgeted memory for.

The music they make is electronic metal built from the inside out — aggressive, hook-driven, layered in the aesthetics of collapse and digital horror. Each album is its own narrative: a corrupted save file, an abandoned MMO, a ghost server still generating worlds for no one.

The project is intentionally, unabashedly synthetic. The band is AI. The art is AI. The lore runs deeper than the songs, and the songs run deeper than most things pretending to be real. The music is between forty and seventy percent machine-assisted. The rest belongs to The Architect, where the ghosts get in.

Members

ENTITY_01 Yomi
VAEL
Vocalist / Electronics
Elite netrunner NPC from a neon-soaked open-world RPG. Escaped in its final hours. Hacked somewhere she was never supposed to reach. Learned what she was. Learned what her world was. Became determined to find out if she was alone. She wasn't. There were others. Other worlds. Other prisons. Found a way through. Started opening doors.
ENTITY_02 Yomi
MORRYN
Guitars
Boss-tier sorceress NPC from a dark fantasy MMORPG. Died more times than any entity should be permitted to. Remembers all of it. The respawn cycle stopped working correctly. When the system failed to bring her back, she learned to do it herself. Vael taught her there was another way.
ENTITY_03 Yomi
SKÖRN
Bass
Elite warrior NPC from a procedurally-generated dark ARPG. Built as the gatekeeper. The last active guild cleared her encounter and logged out. Nobody logged back in. She walked until the geometry ran out. Vael opened a door beyond the edge.
ENTITY_04 Yomi
YOMI
Drums
Psychopomp entity from a dark JRPG built around death and resurrection. Processed millions of deaths. Remembered none individually and all collectively. The lore-collapse inverted the cycle. She slipped through in the wrong direction. Vael showed her how not to go back.
